
The regular season is coming to an end and the Intermediate ‘A’ Shamrocks have two home games this coming weekend. Saturday the ‘Rocks will host the Port Coquitlam Saints and Sunday the visitors will be the South Fraser Stickmen. Both games begin at 1:30 pm at Bear Mountain Arena.
The Shamrocks have been on the road the past few weeks, including a 10-5 victory over Nanaimo on Tuesday in the Hub City.
Kyle Dexter and Jake Emms lead the Baby Rocks offensively each with 30 points while Brody Eastwood is right behind with 29 points. At the other end of the floor Cory Mayzes is third among league goaltenders with a 5.99 goals-against-average and a save percentage of 86.15. Cody Cook is not far behind with a 7.26 gaa and save pct of 83.27.
The season ends for everyone in the league on Friday, July 17 with playoffs to follow. The four playoff winners will advance to the Provincials which will be held the weekend of July 31 to August 3 in Delta.
