There are some special events coming up in the near future for the Shamrock Family. 

Wednesday, June 24 the Jr. Shamrocks have a rare mid-week home game against the Nanaimo Timbermen.  Game time is 8:00 at Bear Mountain Arena.

Friday, June 26 is the annual Shamrocks Tailgate Party which kicks off a busy Shamrock weekend.  This event takes place in the parking lot at Bear Mountain Arena from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, just prior to the game between the Shamrocks and the Nanaimo Timbermen.  All proceeds to be distributed to the Jr. and Intermediate Shamrocks.  There will be hot dogs, smokies, pop for the younger crowd and a beer garden for the adults.  Shamrock, Jr. Shamrock and Intermediate ‘A’ Shamrock players will be on hand and there are other family-friendly events being planned.  Radio Station 100.3 ‘The Q’ will be on hand as well.  Don’t forget – Friday, June 26 at 5:00 and the game to follow at 7:45 pm.  Hang onto your ticket stub because if you bring it to the Jr. Shamrocks Saturday game, it will get you a 2-for-1 admission. 

That same weekend the Intermediate ‘A’ Shamrocks and the Jr. Shamrocks both have home games on Saturday, June 27^th.  The visitors in both cases are the Port Coquitlam Saints.  The Baby Rocks face off at 1:30 pm and the Jr. Shamrocks at 5:00 pm.  Don’t forget, your ticket stub from Friday’s game gets you a 2-for-1 admission into the Jr. Shamrocks game.  Lots of lacrosse action.

But we aren’t finished yet because on Sunday, June 28^th, the Jr. Shamrocks play their last regular season home game and it will be Fan Appreciation Day.  There will be lots of prizes and a chance to get a team picture and have it autographed by the players after the game.  The game itself will feature the Shamrocks and the New Westminster Salmonbellies in a contest which could have significant playoff implications for one or both teams.  Game time is 5:00 pm at Bear Mountain.
